Martial arts and physical activity offer many benefits to children, including increased fitness, confidence, focus, and discipline. However, it is important to understand that all physical activity carries some level of risk.
While our instructors are experienced and take every reasonable precaution to ensure a safe training environment, injuries can and do occur. Minor injuries such as bruises, bumps, scrapes, and general muscle soreness are common. Occasionally, children may experience more serious injuries such as sprains, strains, dislocations, or fractures. In rare cases, more severe outcomes, including long-term injury or even death, may result.
Lions Cub Gym Ltd, including its staff, instructors, agents, and subcontractors, cannot accept liability for any injury, illness, accident, or other medical condition arising from participation in classes, except where required by law under the Occupiers’ Liability Act 1984 (as amended).
Our staff are not medically trained. If your child has any medical conditions or health concerns, you must seek advice from a qualified medical professional before allowing them to participate in physical activity. We strongly recommend consulting your child’s GP if you have any doubts about their suitability for exercise.
